A visit with Glen

One of my favorite spots in the world: The Glenn. These magical times started in high school when I first visited the Glenn in Jim Thorpe. It was one of the first places that I went with my boyfriend of 7 years. It was a place that I went with my friends when we wanted to explore. It was a lot of things. It's funny going back there today and realizing it's still all those things. I have to admit, I was a little slower and sweatier going up though. This will change. I was wondering today how to become a secret spy like James Bond. Something in my mind combines wanting to go to the gym and become buff with striving to become the next Bond..Ms. Bond. Anyway. I went to the Glenn with Russell and it was great. Nothing like it. On the way home the sun was setting as we passed the old Leiby's building on 309. It draws attention to all that changes while you're gone from a place for too long. New comes in and old goes out. That's just life I guess. The old needs to get a movin and make room for all of the new high tech jawns. Unfortunately I'm a sucker for the old. Maybe I was wrong about my power animal. I think the soul inside of me is that of an old dog. An old dog that still has lots of fight.
